Polyacetal

FORMOCON Polyacetal is a high-performance engineering plastic offering excellent mechanical strength, low friction, superior wear resistance and chemical stability. Ideal for automotive, home appliance and textile applications. FDA, UL and ISO certified.

Acetals are rigid, impact-resistant engineering plastics that are not affected by shock and are highly resistant to creep (long-term deformation under load). They exhibit excellent dimensional stability with no post-molding shrinkage. Even at -50 °C, impact resistance remains very high. FORMOSA Polyacetal Copolymer is marketed under the trade name FORMOCON. Our product is certified according to FDA (Food Contact) CFR 177.2470, UL (Underwriters Laboratory), ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 standards. FORMOCON Polyacetal offers excellent thermal stability and outstanding dimensional stability under long-term load between -40 °C and +110 °C. It provides excellent wear resistance and is easy to process.
