PMMA (Acrylic)

ACRYPET PMMA is a high-performance acrylic material offering excellent optical clarity, high mechanical strength and weather resistance. Suitable for injection molding and extrusion. FDA and UL certified.

PMMA is a polymer produced by the polymerization of methyl methacrylate. It offers excellent optical properties with glass-like transparency and transmits up to 92% of light. In addition, it is rigid, resistant to atmospheric conditions, has low water absorption, good dimensional stability and high mechanical strength. Due to these properties, it is widely used as an alternative to glass. The trade name of Mitsubishi Acrylic is ACRYPET. As the authorized distributor in Türkiye, ACRYPET PMMA products are regularly stocked in both injection molding and extrusion grades. With a light transmittance value of up to 93%, it provides significantly higher transparency and gloss compared to standard acrylics. Our product complies with FDA (Food Contact) 21 CFR 177.1010, UL 94HB (Underwriters Laboratory), ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AMECA (Automotive Approval) SAE J576C standards.
