PA 66 (Polyamide 66) offers high impact resistance, easy processability, high thermal resistance and excellent mechanical properties. A wide range of products can be manufactured with different viscosity grades, reinforced with glass fiber, carbon fiber and similar fibers, rubber-modified, laser-markable, high heat resistant, mineral-filled and flame-retardant formulations. Due to these properties, polyamide products are widely used in many industrial and specialized applications. Compared to PA 6, PA 66 is more rigid and provides higher heat resistance. Automotive, electrical & electronics, white goods and furniture are among the most common application areas of PA 66.
