Styrene Acrylonitrile (SAN) is a copolymer of styrene with acrylonitrile. SAN is transparent and glossy. Its scratch resistance makes it suitable for many applications, such as cosmetics and automotive stop signal lamps. KUMHO SAN has excellent chemical resistance, transparency, heat resistance, ease of processing, and mechanical properties. It is used in general-purpose polystyrene applications where additional chemical resistance and high-temperature resistance are required. KUMHO SAN, for which we are the Turkish distributor, is used in many application areas such as kitchenware, electrical and electronic devices, automotive parts, and lighter manufacturing, and holds UL, FDA (Food Grade), and ISO certifications.

Pre-drying : Should be dried in an oven at 75–90 ºC for 2–4 hours.
Processing temperatures : Should be processed between 190–280 ºC.
