PPS (POLYPHENYLENE SULFID)

PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) is an ultra high-performance engineering plastic with inherent flame resistance, excellent chemical resistance and outstanding thermal stability, widely used in automotive and electrical applications.

Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) is a semi-crystalline, high-temperature resistant engineering polymer produced from benzene and sulfur. It is inherently flame retardant without the need for additional additives and has a melting point of approximately 280°C. PPS offers outstanding resistance to chemicals, high temperatures, and harsh environments.

With advanced polymerization and compounding technologies, DIC.PPS has been developed as a high-performance alternative to metals and thermoset plastics. It is widely used in automotive, electrical, and electronic industries. Reinforced with glass fiber and mineral fillers, PPS provides exceptional mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and precision for tight-tolerance applications.
